New White Paper of the local entrepreneurial environment to be released

The IMM Romania SMEs Employers' Confederation is releasing today a new edition of the White Paper on SMEs, at the headquarters of the National Bank of Romania (NBR).

Carried out in the first half of this year on a nationally representative sample, comprising approximately 1,800 small and medium-sized enterprises from all counties and fields of activity, the document provides a detailed x-ray of the local entrepreneurial environment.

The charter is said to mainly analyse the relationship of SMEs to fundamental issues such as business financing, accessing European funds and personnel policies. At the same time, the document outlines a complex robot-portrait of the typical entrepreneurs, of their perceptions regarding the current economic context and of thheir vision of the future.

During the event, the following will give speeches: Florin Jianu, chairman of IMM Romania; Leonardo Badea, first deputy governor of the National Bank of Romania; Radu Burnete, presidential adviser for economic and social policies; Ovidiu Nicolescu, honorary chairman of SME Romania; Victor Negrescu, vice-president of the European Parliament; Daniel Dăianu, academician and chairman of the Fiscal Council; Nicolae Istudor, rector of the Bucharest School of Economics (ASE); Tudorel Andrei, corresponding member of the Romanian Academy chairing the INS National Institute of Statistics; Dan Manolescu, chairman of the Chamber of Tax Consultants; Sterica Fudulea, chairman of the Economic and Social Council; Ionut Stanimir, Director of Marketing and Communication at Banca Comerciala Romana (BCR).
